I had a good stay at Hotel St Paul for two nights. the location was perfect for exploring Old Montreal. The staff were extremely helpful, though I did find the parking fee a bit high at $40 per day. Overall, it was a lovely boutique hotel experience.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were clean and spacious, and I particularly enjoyed the modern decor. The bathroom was a good size, although I encountered some room quirks like a mirror placement that didn't quite work for me.
Service
7.0
At times, I found the staff to be quite courteous and efficient, but there were moments when I felt they could have been a bit more attentive, especially regarding my requests for information about parking.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location was fantastic. just outside the main tourist areas, yet close to wonderful restaurants and sights like Basilica and the Old Port. It made walking around very convenient.
Dining
6.0
While the hotel had dining options, I thought the breakfast was lacking for a 4-star hotel. it was a small buffet and didn't quite match my expectations. Luckily, there were plenty of nearby cafes to explore.
Facilities
7.0
I appreciated the range of facilities, including room service and concierge assistance, even though I didn't get to enjoy all of them. I did notice that some common areas, like the lobby couches, could use updating.

My stay at Hotel St. Paul was nice thanks to its amazing location and cozy ambiance. The historic building had charm, although some areas felt a bit dated. The staff were super helpful, especially with my car and local tips, but I did have a couple of minor service hiccups. Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking to explore Old Montreal.

Rooms

The Junior Suite was surprisingly spacious and comfortable, making me feel like I was in a friend's loft rather than a hotel. The unique modern design added to its appeal, though some areas felt darker than expected.
Service

The staff made a big difference during my stay. Lafont, in particular, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, assisting with everything from my luggage to providing local recommendations.
Location
10.0
The hotel is perfectly situated in Old Montreal, just a short walk to Notre Dame Cathedral and close to great restaurants, which made exploring easy.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were decent and fresh, but I found breakfast a bit pricey for what it offered. Room service was better than expected, so I can’t complain too much.
Facilities
6.0
While the hotel had some lovely features, including a chic lobby bar, I did notice that some facilities felt a bit lacking, especially in terms of accessibility.

I recently stayed at Hotel St Paul, and while the aesthetic was beautiful and modern, my experience was marred by a few issues. The location was fantastic, allowing me to easily explore Old Montreal, but the service left much to be desired. Overall, my stay was a mix of highs and lows, resulting in a moderate impression of the hotel. 🌆

Rooms
7.0
The room was spacious with high ceilings and large windows, but some decor choices felt odd. The absence of luggage racks was a minor inconvenience.
Service
5.0
The staff's assistance was uneven; while some were friendly, I encountered unhelpful reception staff and insufficient support during a fire alarm. I felt overlooked, especially considering my special requests.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is one of its strongest features, with easy access to many top restaurants and attractions in Old Montreal. I loved being able to walk around and soak in the atmosphere.
Dining
5.0
I found the dining options in the hotel to be pricey and underwhelming. There's better value and cuisine nearby, so I recommend exploring local eateries.
Facilities
6.0
The amenities were decent, including room service and a dry cleaning service, but the overall impression could have been enhanced with better attention to details.

I had a decent stay at Hotel St Paul, but there were aspects that definitely need improvement. While the rooms were spacious and beautifully designed, I found the service lacking, with a few issues that really detracted from the experience. The location is fantastic, allowing easy access to Old Montreal, which was a highlight. However, a couple of hiccups with the staff made it hard to fully enjoy my time there. Overall, I would rate it a 6 out of 10.

I enjoyed my three-night stay at Hotel St Paul. the location was fantastic, just steps away from the charm of Old Montreal. The modern vibe of the hotel was soothing, although my room felt a bit small for my liking. The staff was generally friendly and accommodating, but I did experience some minor issues with the room temperature during my visit.

Rooms
8.0
My room was nicely decorated with a comfortable bed, though I found it to be on the small side and would have appreciated a lounge chair. The bathroom was well-sized, but there were some noise issues during my stay.
Service
7.0
The staff was mostly friendly and helpful, fulfilling special requests like a room with hardwood floors for my allergies. however, there were moments where I felt they could improve their attentiveness.
Location
10.0
The hotel is perfectly situated just outside the bustling activity of Old Montreal. making it easy to explore various cafes, restaurants, and historical sites within walking distance.
Dining
6.0
I found the dining options a bit pricey, and they didn’t quite live up to expectations compared to local eateries. I'd recommend exploring the nearby restaurant scene for better value.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel offered convenient services like valet parking, which is essential in this area. In-room amenities were nice, but I wish there had been a bit more attention to detail in housekeeping.
